What is Torrent Spy?

Torrent Spy is a website that lists many files available for download using the bit torrent file sharing technology. While the site is clean and generally straightforward, it is plagued by problems related to copyright infringement and other legal issues. Additionally, there have been numerous reports of files being shared on Torrent Spy website containing viruses and / or other malicious code potentially dangerous when downloaded. It is therefore my strong recommendation that any users partaking in the torrent spy network take the utmost protection when downloading files. If you do decide to use torrent spy, make sure you have all your antivirus software online and completely up to date. A firewall is another must, as many of these programs contain worms and Trojans designed to send sensitive information (such as credit card info) out to third parties.
